BET Awards 2012: Beyonce, Jay-Z and Kanye West Dominate Full Winner List

In addition to Beyonce Knowles and The Throne duo, Chris Brown becomes one of the biggest winners by also claiming two kudos.

The 2012 BET Awards has revealed all its winners. Among the biggest winners are Beyonce Knowles and her husband Jay-Z as well as his collaborator Kanye West with two nods apiece. Queen Bey grabbed the coveted Best Female R&B Artist award, which she dedicated to late diva Whitney Houston, and Video Director of the Year kudo along with Alan Ferguson.

As for Jigga and Yeezy, The Throne duo took home the Best Group and Video of the Year prizes. Another artist who bagged multiple prizes was Chris Brown. In addition to claiming the Best male R&B Artist title, Breezy won the Fandemonium award for the third year in a row.

Other winners at the annual prize-giving event included Nicki Minaj (Best Female Hip Hop Artist), Drake (Best Male Hip Hop Artist), Viola Davis (Best Actress), Kevin Hart (Best Actor), and Big Sean (Best New Artist). Serena Williams and Kevin Durant were named the Sportswoman and Sportsman of the Year respectively.

Taking place at the Shrine Auditorium, this year's BET Awards was made merry by live performances from the likes of Usher, Nicki Minaj, 2 Chainz, Melanie Fiona, D'Angelo, Chris Brown, as well as Rick Ross and his Maybach Music Group. Serving as the host was "The Avengers" star Samuel L. Jackson.

The event additionally featured an extensive Whitney Houston tribute. For the session, Monica and Brandy took the stage to perform "I'm Your Baby Tonight" and "I Wanna Dance With Somebody", Chaka Khan delivered "I'm Every Woman", while Whitney's mother Cissy Houston sang "Bridge Over Troubled Water" to commemorate her late daughter.
